Course Overview & Outline
Students participate in the delivery of a range of sport and recreation activities and programs within the school. Graduates will be competent in a range of essential skills including; officiating games or competitions, coaching beginner participants to develop fundamental skills, effective communication skills, providing quality service to participants, and assisting with activity programs.
This program also includes the following:
A Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) screening process is undertaken as part of pre-enrolment in order to provide advice to students on the suitability of the training product.
Binnacle Training is approved as a Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) to deliver Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (SIS20122) as a VETiS funded qualification. Please note that some training and assessment services are delivered by the School (Third Party).
This qualification is also available as ‘Fee for Service’ – as invoiced to the school.
