SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (Standalone Qualification)
1-Year Format
$395 per person (if 'Fee-for-Service') + (optional additional) First Aid $75

Course Overview & Outline
Students participate in the delivery of a range of sport and recreation activities and programs within the school. Graduates will be competent in a range of essential skills including; officiating games or competitions, coaching beginner participants to develop fundamental skills, effective communication skills, providing quality service to participants, and assisting with activity programs.
This program also includes the following:
- Community Coaching – Essential Skills Course (non-accredited), issued by Australian Sports Commission
- A range of career pathway options including club level official and/or coach, or pathway into SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation (or SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness)
- Optional Additional Training – The nationally recognised First Aid competency – HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
A Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) screening process is undertaken as part of pre-enrolment in order to provide advice to students on the suitability of the training product.
Vocational Education and Training in Schools initiative, funded by the Queensland Government
Binnacle Training is approved as a Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) to deliver Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (SIS20122) as a VETiS funded qualification. Please note that some training and assessment services are delivered by the School (Third Party).
This qualification is also available as ‘Fee for Service’ – as invoiced to the school.
