Students develop key enterprise skills – including leadership and innovation, customer service, personal management, teamwork and financial literacy – through project-based learning. Recommended projects include:

Students develop money management skills through completion of the nationally recognised financial literacy competency: FNSFLT311 – Develop and apply knowledge of personal finances.

School requirements

Business Teacher (Program Deliverer)
  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Business qualification (Certificate III or above).
School Projects
  • Access to customers (e.g. other students) to deliver projects and services to.

What students achieve

  • Certificate III in Business (BSB30120)
  • Financial Literacy elective: FNSFLT311 – Develop and apply knowledge of personal finances
  • Maximum 8 QCE Credits (QLD schools)
  • Students may be able to improve their chances of gaining tertiary entrance. See here ➜
