CRAIG BELLAMY

Sport Industry Presenter

From humble beginnings in country NSW Portland, to reaching the professional high of a premiership winning player for the Canberra Raiders in 1990, this is where Craig Bellamy developed his mentality for hard work.

Craig transitioned from player (at the Canberra Raiders) through to coaching at the Brisbane Broncos as the Performance Coordinator, where he was able to assist (coach at the time) Wayne Bennett to Premierships in 1998 and 2000.

In 2003, Craig was appointed the Melbourne Storm Head Coach and ever since that day, ‘Bellachye’ has created a culture that is envied and admired by many across multiple sporting codes. It’s a system which has helped mould the talents of former superstars in Cooper Cronk, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith and now the current crop of rising stars in Cameron Munster, Harry Grant and Ryan Papenhuyzen.

With a winning percentage of 70%, Craig has seen plenty of success and plenty of disappointment. It is this drive and ability to reinvent, adapt, lead and overcome in the pursuit of success. Hear from Craig about how he and the team faced the adversity of the 2009 and 2010 stripping of the Premierships and how he led the club and his team to come out the other side to become 2011 Minor Premiers and then go on to win the 2012 Premiership after losing 14 of their best players.

From here, the club continues to go from strength to strength; the Club has been to four of the last five Grand Finals culminating in lifting the Provan-Summon Trophy in 2017 and 2020. 2021 has seen the Club only play 4 home games in Victoria. While living out of a suitcase for the majority of the season Craig leadership has seen the club capture another Minor Premiership and equal the longest winning streak in First Grade Rugby League History and another NRL Premiership possibly awaits him and the Melbourne Storm.

CASS OLHOLM

Fitness Industry Presenter

Coming from a competitive running background, Cass has always been fit, but she hasn’t always been strong (in her words). She was first introduced to the strength and conditioning and high intensity training in late 2012 by her now husband, Jake. At first, she became addicted to the process of progress, becoming stronger, and doing things she never thought were possible, this was empowering for her.

Over time she discovered what she was truly made of, and then watching that reflect outside of your training in everyday life was the most rewarding part. Realising that if she was capable of doing this, she knew everyone else was capable too, and she wanted to help people realise this for themselves.

Already a qualified Nutritionist (B.HlthSc Nut), Cass became certified as a Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCA) and Weightlifting Coach (AWF). To make this happen she started off by coaching clients in a bootcamp setting which included numerous 8 Week Challenges in the local Cairns area, which quickly grew into opening The Ground Australia, a group fitness facility specialising in HIIT and Strength and Conditioning, alongside her husband Jake as the Co-Founder.

In addition to being able to coach the incredible community at The Ground, Cass also now has the incredible honour of coaching an online community through her High Intensity Strength Programs as a Sweat Trainer with Sweat – a company which is Co-Founder by world renowned Online Trainer Kayla Itsines, which reported recently sold for $400 Million – Click here for more information.
