Sport Specialty Programs

Binnacle's Sport Specialty Formats - offered at both Certificate III and Certificate II level - simply involve replacing the officiating and/or coaching 'general principles' accreditation with the respective sport-specific foundational (e.g. Level 1) accreditation (officiating and/or coaching).

Binnacle has formalised the following Sport Specialty Formats - NRL, Netball, Rugby Union and AFL. Importantly however, schools can offer a Sport Specialty Format outside of these four sporting codes (at either Certificate III or Certificate II level). Example: The teacher/school has an existing relationship with a National/State Sporting Organisation (e.g. Football) where one or more sport-specific accreditations can be facilitated, either by the teacher or external presenter.  This sport-specific (e.g. Football) accreditation simply replaces the 'general principles' accreditation per Binnacle's Course Schedule.

Please contact us if you would like to enquire about one or more Sport Specialty Formats for your school.
