How it works

See how you can save your school a minimum of $3,000 per year on your school’s First Aid Training Expenses. It’s the Binnacle Guarantee.

Your school provides the teacher (First Aid Trainer) to deliver the program.

Open to the WHOLE school - i.e. students, teachers and other staff*.

Flexible delivery options:

  • Flexible Student Model – condensed format (1-2 days) or across a subject timetable
  • Participants are assessed individually on
    • Knowledge (short answer)
    • Emergency Management Practicals including CPR Demonstration
  • Blended Staff Model = No Teacher Release Time Required. See here > 

CPR certificate (Provide CPR) can be offered as a stand-alone, annual refresher course (approx 3 hours). See here >

School Requirements

  • One or more qualified program deliverers
    • Health & First Aid trained
    • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116). Find out more >
